We chatted with Jenna Gross of @colordrunk_designs, an interior designer based in Atlanta, Georgia!  If you follow her, you’ve seen her incredible taste and amazing use of big patterns and bold colors. What is currently inspiring your designs? 

Color (as always) but for now I am enjoying looking ahead to spring… all the flowers and warm weather & bright colors. Our family is headed to the Bahamas in a few weeks & I can’t wait to be inspired by all the color there!

What are some projects you’re currently working on? 

I have two projects right now that are screaming spring. The first is a pool cabana with tons of fun colors and finishes. The second is an entire pool house for one of my oldest clients. We’re doing some really fun bright tile and a hot pink pool table! It’s been fun working on these pool-themed projects because I can really go all out on the color & pattern. January is often when people want to get a fresh start on things and it's always exciting- we are beginning a few new builds and big renovations for the year as well. 

What’s one item you always like to add to a room? 

Pattern- whether it’s fabrics, art, or carpet I have to add it somewhere. It keeps the room interesting, even if it isn’t full of the most explosive colors. We don’t do boring here!

Do you have any tips for keeping a room organized/pulled together? 

Invest in creating storage everywhere you can, you’ll always use it. Built-in cabinets are a lifesaver, and I love doing a big storage ottoman for loose items like blankets. It’s also important to know yourself & your style of organization. If you’re a “throw it in pile” type of person, get some large stylish baskets for toys, shoes, etc. Anything that hides clutter is a must, and if it’s cute you’re more likely to use it!
